I’m Esther and welcome to Rewired. Join me on my mission to "rewire" the fashion industry: one handmade upcycled item at a time.

Each upcycled piece is handmade from pre-loved second hand or vintage fabrics that are given new life: textiles with a previous life, remade into new wearable creations. No mass production or fleething fast fashion. Just me who makes one-of-a-kind handmade items from what already exists.

The idea of 'Rewired Handmade' was born in 2024 in Tofino, a tiny surf town on Canada’s west coast and evolved into the mission it is today in the quirky city of Utrecht in The Netherlands.

 

Rewired is for those who, like me, live somewhere in between but are longing to live a slower and more grounded life with a wardrobe that fits that lifestyle.

Rewired is for living slow and colourfully.​
